When you are growing up there are times when you feel strange within yourself, as if your soul doesn’t belong to you. It feels like you’ve lost in a race you never wanted to be in, but keep running just because you have to.

Have you ever thought about who you were before life taught you to be someone else? When you felt like you could do anything and weren’t scared to dream whatever you want?

When you were a child you didn’t have a concept of unworthiness or not being good enough, you just simply here to play, explore, and having fun. So what happens when you interact with this part of you?

Your inner child soul knows nothing but love, innocence, and pure wonder. But when you grow as an adult you carrying such experienced to fit in, to be understood, and to feel accepted. You’ ve carried quite a burden, and now it’s time to realease it and meeting your inner child so you will reconnect with your unshakable faith and help you to healing, strengthen your self-esteem and self-love.

There are many ways to tune into your inner child, it depends on yourself. Use your intuition to find which most effective method or feels most in flow for you. But here are some suggestions for you to access your inner child.

  • Meditation : take some relaxing deep breaths, bring a vision of yourself as young child to your mind. Ask this part of you, does your inner child have anything to say? does she need help with anything? what does your inner child want? what do you want? try to connect by finding out what your inner child really wants and needs.
  • Creativity : Allow your inner child to express itself through something you liked maybe such as paint or draw a picture and then try to answering this questions: how does your inner child wants to be fully expressed? how can you create more time and space in your life to wonder and enjoy life? tune into how you were when you were a child.
  • Building trust : If you don’t believe and doubt yourself it’s time to let your inner child express the sadness, worry, fear that’s need to be released to your adult self. Because the fact is your inner child needs to feel loved, acknowledged, and taken care of. But your adult self seems to forget that, so now you have to treat yourself better and be depended upon to keep your inner child safe, happy, and loved.

When you finally interact with your inner child you will create such a solid foundation for self-love and joy within yourself. Because when you look outside of yourself for love, from everything and everyone around you it would never be enough. The answer is in you, so embrace yourself you have to start there.
